Mushroom Madness #1: Box Purse

Amy from Angry Chicken is making some cool Enid Collins-inspired purses. I love what she's doing: getting blank box purses from the craft store; tinting, painting, and applying jewels. They're really turning out great.

I was first turned on to Enid's purses after I found Glumpire's beautiful collection on Flickr. After seeing them, I told my mother-in-law that I dug Enid and to keep her eyes open. She has a used clothing store in San Francisco, so I figured she'd come up with something. This isn't an Enid, but it is a box purse and it is covered with mushrooms—she knows I have a thing for fungus.

I was thinking about starting a Mushroom Mondays thingy, but I can never seem to get things done on the proper day—maybe I'll do a series of Mushroom Madness posts. Feel free to join in the madness. The ultimate, of course, would be a mushroom motif Enid, like Glumpire has.
