All animals all the time

I think we're at around 55 animals these days.

These two were maybe a day old when they brought them in from the back pasture. We're on day ten. Wish me luck.

Ten new chicks for Easter. We also have a laying flock of nine, plus their man. Then there are the meat chickens. I'll tell you more about that after Sunday.

The sheep are finally at pasture. It's taken quite a while to get all the fencing proper, but now they have their five acres of forage. The two male lambs are quite large now, time for us to come to terms with their future as meat.

Livestock that is raised in the house has special pet status and will not become meat. Can you tell Spiffy is used to riding around in cars? He has a new baby girl goat friend named Georgie Girl. She might be the cutest thing ever.
