Blue, Indigo, Violet

And so finishes the Rainbow project. I expedited the ending because I'm ready to move forward. Thanks to all the gals who played with. It did help me get through the last of the winter doldrums. Onward Spring!
Luckily my little guy is still blissfully unaware of cultural biases about who should or shouldn't wear dresses. It's my first attempt at a knit dress and fold over elastic.

God, he's cute. Purple is good color on him. The wings are, of course, a perfect addition.
That is one shy looking little butterfly. So cute. XOX. Did you say KNIT dress?! Not sewn? Or is it that jersey knit material. Im confused.
I just can't resist tiny tots playing dress up! With 2 older sisters, it happens to our 20-mo son a lot in our house. His favorite is the mermaid tail I made a couple of years ago.
PS love the skirts too!
Oh you cheat! Ok I'm going to do that too cos I am totally ready to be free of the rainbow.
That sounded ungrateful and mean and I didn't mean it to be.
ps. my eldest and youngest boys happily wore fairy outfits for YEARS. The middle boy? NEVER. Wouldn't have a bar of 'em from day one.
what a sweet photo. he looks as though he's trying desperately hard to hide his impishness.
