We Care, Not
Well, that little Heather Ross preview was exciting, no? On the Sewing Mamas board, I read that the other colorways are going to be pretty fantastic, too. I'll keep you updated if I get my hands on some more pics.
Because life is a series of ups and downs, today's mail brought me disappointment in the form of one obviously ripped open package with no contents. A plastic bag with a pre-printed and very generic apology from the USPS provided little comfort. The package was supposed to have a special Etsy purchase from Little Robot &mdash a one-of-a-kind hand painted enamel brooch with silver surround. Sigh. Lindsey is a great vendor, she graciously refunded my PayPal even before the packaging arrived. If you feel like it, check out her Etsy shop and spend a little money, maybe offset some of her loss.

So now "going postal" means "stealing things people have ordered from etsy and then apologizing for it"? Must update my urban dictionary....
That's terrible. I am stunned. Nothing inside? That's it?
what a pisser! i would be so upset :(
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. Grr the evil postal thieves.
This is kind of odd to say in a comment but- you make my day! (I have succumbed to the blogging equivalent of a chain mail, but rather a sweet one, I like to think- pick ten blogs which make you happy, post about them, and tell 'em you picked 'em in a comment)
That really sucks! Those postal punks really couldn't give a crap. Sorry that happened to you
bummer :^(
Oooh that was a nice preview:: i am going to dress up my daughter in all that mermaid goodness! Bummer about the purchase:: we had a bike some half missing once... yuck!
Oh, dear! What rotten luck.
Wow. I cannot believe they would do that. How disappointing on many levels.
although my experience doesn't necessarily mean that it was also your experience, i would give the USPS the benefit of the doubt. my parents sent me a package from europe that was also empty and after careful examination of the package it appears that it showed up empty to the US and that the thievery occurred before it even crossed the atlantic. i'm sorry you lost the brooch though. at least the contents of my package were replaceable.
