Kitchen Imp: Batik Doll

This was the prototype for the fabric swap. I only dyed one color (blue) and then drew on the black parts. I sewed across the top of each leg so that she can sit comfortably on the kitchen shelves.
Labels: batik, doll, sew-your-own-doll, swap

These dolls of yours are AWESOME!!! I just love them!
Your craft even makes the kitchen shelves look good.
It works!!
Nevertheless, I could not make myself cut into these gorgeous fabrics, I'd rather frame them and hang on the wall...
She is adorable. Can't wait to see the gnome.
He's wonderful - I love his sleepy expression - that's how I usually feel when I'm in the kitchen! Lucky you to find those old craft books - those are so fun - just to look through them is inspiring.
