Week in Review: June 9-16, 2007
So much to do, so little time. I am finding my role as activity director increasing at a rapid rate. Some of the things we did this week were: visit a miniature horse and pony show; dig in the dirt a lot; say good bye to a best friend; go to the Boardwalk with a larger kid to parent ratio; and take a night walk with cousins, aunties and uncles to see the fireworks over the ocean.

"I'm Julie, your cruise director." The Love Boat soon will be making another run....
But what was Gopher's job?
Being annoying? Oh, wait. He was the purser. The "yeoman-purser." Purser: an officer aboard a ship who keeps accounts and attends to the passengers' welfare. According to another source, "The Yeoman-Purser is the third in command in the absence of the Commodore and Vice Commodore. In land bound organizations this is the Secretary-Treasurer position."
Such sweet, sweet photos.
While Julie makes an appearance every so often in the pop culture reference scheme of things, I haven't thought of Gopher is ages. And we all know that Secretary is the job they give to the person that comes in late.
