What Happened to Heather?

Anyone know what happened to Heather at Making Time? Her last post on her blog was in August and she's not been writing on Whip Up either. We miss you Heather — hope you're just taking a blog break.

She and I shared a few emails about not being comfortable with the "warm and fuzzy" blog vibe that sometimes happens. I had to basically disconnect from the internet, and pull out the internet IV from my arm. I was working full time, and also had a 2nd job online, and I had taken on an admin role in Whip Up, and soon I was bursting at the seams.

I took 2 weeks off for a trip in August last year, and when I didn't suffer from withdrawl symptoms I realized I could live without blogging everyday!

I realized that my blogging was taking up way too many hours each week, and I was doing more blogging and less crafting, less socializing, less being a good tourist or a good fiancée. I also had a book proposal which fell through so I was a little discouraged.

Oh! and my CAMERA was STOLEN- but it was totally my fault. :( That gutted me. I still have no camera, but as soon as I can get the cable to my mom's old digital camera I will be able to post work up.

I left my old job, and moved from Japan. So I dusted off my old blog. And I have loads of free time so I am able to post again. I really enjoyed blogging, but I need to make sure I balance that with everything in my life.

I am sorry I didn't make any post on my site directly. I was always thinking- "Oh I'll post really soon, I will!" Then I never did...
