Bitch'n Bobbins

If sewing folk had their own local bitch'n groups, like the knitters, it would be a wonderful world. Beer, sewing tips, and industry anecdotes — while surrounded by fabric and yarn — is just about worth its weight in gold. There's another class tonight if you can make it.

That looks like heaven!
I love that little shop in Felton. I hardly ever get there, but we have tickets to ride the "Thomas the train" again this year there in a couple of weeks, and secretly, I'm looking forward to it due to the trip to the fabric shop afterwards. Is that evil? Ah, if so....sign me up, it's true.
Here in London we've got a really active meetup.com sewing group that is often just like you described! I always try to save my handsewing for those nights because it goes sooo much faster with gossip. :)
That beer is the best, yes?
what a lovely way to spend the night.
i meet weekly with a small group of mamas to craft, eat, chat, eat, & either drink coffee, or booze & coffee.
having a place with machines, & fabric at our disposal would be perfect.
That class sounds like too much fun. By the way, you won the birthday giveaway on my blog! I will need your mailing address so I can get this package sent. Happy weekend!
